Amazon Courier Activation
Learn how to help sellers activate Amazon Courier, including KYC and Business Seller registration requirements, troubleshooting steps, and when to escalate to the Tech Team.
Overview
Amazon Courier is available only for verified Business Sellers as per Amazon's compliance policy. Individual Sellers who are not registered as Business Sellers will not have access to Amazon Courier.
Seller Eligibility
- Amazon Courier is available only for verified Business Sellers.
- Individual Sellers who are not registered as Business Sellers will not be able to access Amazon Courier.
- The Seller must complete the required KYC and have a valid GSTIN to register as a Business Seller.
If the Seller Asks How to Activate Amazon Courier
If a Seller proactively asks how to activate Amazon Courier:
- Advise the Seller to register as a Business Seller.
- The Seller must complete the required KYC process.
- The Seller must provide or complete their GSTIN details.
- Once the Seller is verified and registered as a Business Seller, Amazon Courier can be activated, subject to eligibility.
Champ Process — When a Call Lands
When a Seller contacts us because Amazon Courier is not visible:
- Open the Company tab.
- Check whether the Seller's KYC is completed.
- Verify whether the Seller is registered as a Business Seller.
If KYC is incomplete or the Seller is not registered as a Business Seller:
- Explain that Amazon Courier is available only to verified Business Sellers.
- Guide the Seller to complete KYC and Business Seller registration, including GSTIN requirements where applicable.
If KYC is completed and the Seller is registered as a Business Seller, but Amazon Courier is still not available:
- Create a ticket for the Tech Team for further investigation.

What's Changing\
- A simple GST check has been applied on the panel: if a seller's GST is not uploaded or not active, couriers like Amazon will be restricted for shipping on their account.
- Any new GST upload will take approximately 6 hours to ingest in the system before the Amazon courier option is unlocked.
- Effective today, any new or existing seller will not be able to see/use the Amazon courier unless their GST is active and live on our platform.
Action Required
Please notify all sellers in your accounts right away to upload and activate their GST details on the panel. This is necessary for them to continue utilizing courier services like Amazon without interruption.
Way Forward\
- For new seller onboarding, a mandatory GST declaration step will be added to the flow, required to unlock complete courier serviceability (sellers can still proceed without it, but without Amazon courier).
- This onboarding change will go live within the next 2 weeks for new sellers.
Why This Matters
This step is being taken to reduce disputes and counterfeit shipments, and to ensure a best-in-class experience for our clients.ial Email:
