What is Shiprocket Cargo?

SR Cargo by Shiprocket offers B2B cargo shipping solutions for heavy and bulk shipments across India. It features multiple carriers, real-time tracking, AI-driven courier recommendations, and appointment-based deliveries.

Pickup Timing

  • If pickup assigned before 12 PM — pickup attempted same day.
  • If assigned after 12 PM — pickup on next working day.

Couriers Used

Spoton, Delhivery, XpressBees.

Prohibited Items

Hazardous materials, perishable goods, precious items (gold, silver), and prohibited goods (liquor, tobacco, narcotics, betel nuts, ammunition, etc.).

Weight and Charges

  • Dead Weight: Actual weight on scale.
  • Volumetric Weight: L × W × H / Volumetric Factor (varies by contract).
  • Charged Weight: Higher of dead or volumetric weight.

Auto-Accept Rule (Weight Discrepancy)

Same as Shiprocket main panel — discrepancies auto-accepted after 7 days if no action taken.

Billing and Invoices

  • Invoices issued on the 7th of every month for all shipments shipped and delivered the previous month (30-day billing cycle).
  • Invoices shared via email and available on dashboard.
  • For invoice disputes, contact SR Cargo within 7 working days of receipt.

Wallet

  • Recharge via payment gateway (UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Pay Later). Minimum: Rs. 500.
  • Or transfer balance from Shiprocket main wallet to SR Cargo wallet.

Cargo Secure (Insurance)

Sellers covered against damaged or lost packages. Claim possible when shipment is marked lost or damaged during transit (Forward or RTO).

Activate: Settings > Scroll to Value Added Services > Auto-Secure Shipments (or directly in shipment creation).

Appointments

Appointment-based delivery allows scheduling specific time slots for delivery — used for marketplace deliveries to Flipkart, Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Jio Mart.

To enable: Mark Appointment flag as True in the shipment booking journey.

How to Do on Cargo Panel

Register on Cargo

  1. Visit https://cargo.shiprocket.in/
  2. Click Try for free.
  3. Fill registration form (email and contact details).
  4. Complete OTP verification.
  5. Set up account details (billing address and KYC).

Complete Cargo KYC

KYC via automated Aadhaar or GSTIN OTP, or manually upload:

  • Selfie/photograph
  • PAN Card scan
  • Aadhaar Card scan
  • GST Certificate (Page 1 & 3) scan
  • Cancelled cheque / front page of passbook

Important: Address proof and billing address must match.

Create a Shipment

Shipments > Create Shipment > Fill sender/receiver info and package details (boxes, weight, dimensions) with invoice details > Select courier > Enter E-Way Bill number (if invoice value over Rs. 50,000) > Create > Download label PDF > Stick label on boxes > Handover to pickup partner.

Track a Shipment

Shipments > All Shipments > Enter tracking number in search bar > Click Track.

View Payments and Transaction Logs

Billing > Passbook > Filter by tracking number > View waybill-level transactions.

Calculate Shipping Rates

Tools > Shipment Rate Calculator > Enter weight, dimensions, origin and destination pincode > View rates.

Check Serviceability

Tools > Serviceability > Enter origin and destination pincodes > View available couriers.

Find Pickup ID

Shipments > Pickup Requests > View unique pickup IDs against scheduled pickups.

Download Shipping Labels

Shipments > All Shipments > Search AWB > Click Download Label > PDF format.

Raise a Weight Dispute

Weight Discrepancies section > Select shipment > Click Raise Weight Dispute > Provide necessary details > Submit.

Set Courier Rules

Setup and Manage > Courier Rules > Choose: Cheapest, or Custom (define priority by weight, pincode, zone, invoice value, appointment) > Save.

Recharge Cargo Wallet

Billing section > Recharge > Select payment method (UPI, Cards, Net Banking).

Or: Transfer from Shiprocket main wallet to Cargo wallet.
